Medusa Experts, a service operated by Upraxis Americas Inc ("we", "us"), builds and migrates e-commerce stores on MedusaJS and Next.js. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We keep it plain because that's how we'd want it explained to us.
What we collect
- Details you send us. When you submit the quote form or request a free resource, we collect your name, email, and anything you choose to add — website URL, current platform, revenue range, and your message.
- Basic technical data. Our server records standard request information such as your IP address and browser user-agent to help prevent spam and abuse.
- Website scan information. When you ask us to scan a store, we collect the URL you submit, your confirmation that you are authorized to request the scan, and public technical information from that website. This can include public sitemaps and product URLs, structured data, visible storefront services, representative page screenshots, and performance or accessibility audit results. We do not log in, submit checkout or other forms, or intentionally access customer information.
- Automated and AI-assisted analysis. We use automated rules and may use an AI service provider to interpret a minimized set of public scan evidence. The AI provider does not set the price; our versioned pricing rules do. We do not send account credentials or customer records. Current providers and relevant data-handling information are available on request or in our subprocessor list.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we don't try to build a profile of you across other sites.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and send any resource you asked for.
- To understand which projects are a good fit and schedule work.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
- To create and explain the migration estimate you requested.
- To protect the scanner from abuse and unsafe targets.
- To improve scan accuracy using de-identified evaluation data, where permitted.
How we store and share it
Enquiries are stored in our own database and sent to our team by email. We use trusted service providers to run our infrastructure and send email on our behalf; they process data only to provide those services. We do not sell your information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Raw scan artifacts such as screenshots and audit files are normally deleted within 30 days. Abandoned scan records are normally deleted within 30 days. If you ask for a report or proposal, we keep the resulting enquiry and assessment for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable business period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it or we need to retain it for legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
You can use the core scan without joining a marketing list. Report delivery and marketing consent are separate. You can ask us to delete an accessible scan or contact us to exercise your data choices.
